  Personal
 - Life goes on, I try to work on various musical and photographic projects
   as well as redesigning this site a bit when I have time. Personally things
   are okay, I keep busy.

  CURRENT PROJECTS AND STATUS
 
 - New Northaunt album :hardly any progress, however it will come.
 - Split LP with Svartsinn for Loki Foundation - thematic release inspired by
   Cormac McCarthys excellent book ' The Road' : Work in progress but slowly.
 - The Human Voice, new album :work in progress but slowly/random ;-)

 - MULM, remember this name... This is me and 3 other musicians working
   together on what has become a really great cd, we just recently got a deal
   with Cyclic law records and we expect a cd to be out in February 2012.

 -THERRADAEMON My project for more ominous sounds and drones,
  The first cd is out now (Desember 21 2011) on Cylic law.
  Status : plans are being made for another album.

  This is the main page of Hærleif Langås, here you find information on my various projetcs.
  Northaunt (main project) Bio :   Northaunt started making ambient soundscapes in 1996.
  The music is mainly made from atmospheric drones, crisp field recordings (from nature here
  in Norway) and sometimes simple melodies (guitar, piano etc).Northaunt has a special focus
  on seclusion, melancholy and the relationship between man and nature, 3 cd's has been
  released so far. Northaunt is released by Cyclic law records (Canada)

  Northaunt has also played live from time to time,these were my rare opportunities to meet likeminded.
